Hu, looks like I became famous over night. I really had no clue that this single extension is so popular. Anyway it's a good reason to write this post in English.

So what's this?

NoMoreiTunes is an extension for Safari 5 which disables the script that tries to start iTunes when you visit a link to the iTunes Store. It's annoying and redundant as there is iTunes Preview for Music and Apps now.

Since this doesn't work on movies I modified the redirecting page for them to show a big button which loads iTunes once (and only if) you click it. I'm working on this one to become a bit more powerful.

• 1.1: URLs responsible for creating new accounts on iTunes will now launch iTunes and no longer be blocked (I think there is some kind of use in launching iTunes in this special case)

Nach viel Arbeit ist endlich die neue Seite für Georg Rudolph fertig geworden. Technisch kommen einige interessante Sachen zum Einsatz: Cufón für die Schrift, viel JavaScript-Voodoo für die Hintergründe und ein selbstgebautes Micro-CMS ohne Datenbank.
